Our little guy turned six months on January 17th!! Whew! What a whirlwind the last six months have been. We decided this weekend that we really do have the best baby ever. He is getting sweeter, cuter and funnier by the minute. His first tooth came through on Saturday morning. It is his front, bottom - left tooth. (I think) He is taking it like a champ... See below for his six month pics!
We went to San Diego this weekend to visit all of Zachary's Aunties. We went to Melissa and Derek's house on Saturday night. Zachary's true colors came out that night. He is afraid of girls. Avery was too much for him to handle. They were so cute though. I told Josh that he needs to toughen HIS son up!!
We also took Zach in the indoor pool. This was his first time swimming. He seemed to enjoy it. He looked pretty cute in his swim gear.
Then on Sunday, we went to watch the Charger Game at Anna and Ian's. Poor Zach, every time someone cheered, Zach looked like he was going to have a heart attack. He was so startled. We tried round two with Avery and Zach, but he still wasn't having any of it.
We had a great time seeing all of our friends and hope to do it again soon!
Our family has been plagued by the stomach flu this week. More on this later. Now that all three of us have recovered, we wanted to show you Zach's new favorite toy - Daddy's tie!!
Again, please don't worry - we don't let him play with ties unattended.
I think its finally safe to let out a sigh of relief. After pulling Zach out of his old day care nearly a month ago (it really just wasnt working for him), starting him at the Jewish Community Center in Irvine, and going back to work, I think I can finally feel relieved that my baby is happy, healthy and thriving! Thanks to the entire staff at the infant/toddler center at Zach's new daycare, he is eating more, sleeping more and even talking more. Zach really likes playing with all his new little friends. He sits with some of them as they talk to him and he looks back at them and laughs. Miss Brenda really loves Zach. We bring him in each morning and she takes him right from us. He is always smiling at her. He no longer likes to lay down and is very active. He is getting to be more and more fun as the days go by. I still watch the clock each day and run out the door the very minute it is time to pick him up but I am also content being back and I am probably a better mom now for it.
