Zachary David

On July 17, 2007 at 8:18 pm, our lives changed forever. Our son Zachary David was born. He made his debut 2 weeks early and weighed in at 6lbs. 10 oz., and a debatable 19 inches. Josh thinks he has gigantism. All joking aside, he just seems so long and lean (like his dad)! My pregnancy was a dream come true. I felt wonderful the entire time. Labor wasn't too bad either. The full story will be posted shortly. We're not quite sure who he looks like yet. We both like to think that he looks like each of us. Time will tell I guess.

Late Nite?

Oh, the troubles we had deciding on a name for this blog. Sometimes, I wish I was more creative. We started thinking of names that had significance during many different times in our lives. We started thinking about our favorite place to go... Vegas!! Josh immediately thought of Late Nite or After Hours (both relating to early morning hours at Drei's of course). And then I immediately thought of college, the late night cafe in our dorms that contributed to the freshman 15 my girlfriends and I all gained that year. Or, the late nite kegs and hookups that Greek life often led to. Josh and I were both part of the Greek system, so its no secret to either of us that this occured. And now of course, with the newest addition to our family, our little Zachary, we find ourselves up late at night once again.
