Memorial Day

I can not remember a Memorial Day weekend with such bad weather. We had big fun in the sun plans for Zachy. No such luck though. It was pretty cold and gloomy. We did however make it to Sesame Street Live - and LIVE it was. It was loud. colorful and scary. It was the first time though Zach has ever sat still for 45 minutes straight.

Yesterday, we checked out the south lake beach club and got some fresh air. We entered Zach in the pie eating contest and he came in 2nd place!!

Then we came home and Zach wanted to place with my necklaces. Uh Oh!

Is there Tabasco Sauce in that?

My first Mother's Day was one of the best days in a very long time. Zach recovered from a cold for the first time without having to go to the doctor (and with the help of a little gem called Sinupret... hello..spokeswoman anyone???) He was full of energy and extremely playful. More fun than ever before. Josh sent me a beautiful basket filled with cookies, tea, and a mug with a matching spoon. He scored major points with the all the ladies at work.

Then when I picked Zach up at daycare, they gave me a Mother's Day card that Zach made. I never thought that fingerpainting would bring tears to my eyes!

JOsh told me Saturday night was "my treat." He said that I didnt have to wake up to tend to Zach in the middle of the night. Little do all of you know - that Zach sleeps through the night for the most part now. Nice try Josh!! He still tried to pull a fast one on me the next morning by asking me if I had heard him get up in the middle of the night. No such luck though, Josh I know you all too well now. Sunday morning, we woke up, played with Zach and when he went down for his amazing 2 hour nap, Josh made me brunch, complete with flowers, fruit and a Bloody Mary! It was fabulous. Thank you so much my wonderful husband and sweet
little baby Zach.

Better Late than Never

Our little Zach is a stubborn one. It took him almost nine months to purposfully roll-over. There is no stopping him now. He is rolling, crawling, playing ball, pulling himself up to stand and biting! Did I say biting? Zachary has his next pair of teeth coming in (I am not quite sure where yet) and yesterday he actually leaned over and bit my shoulder. I screamed but then I couldnt stop laughing. He also is eating pieces of avocado, banana, giving kisses (well licks...) and moving on from d's to s's... I just want to know where his m's are!!
